You need to move south! It was hot here today...oh and last week too, LOL! I also LOVE chocolate pie and I never attempt the crust...just the homemade custard. Check out a cheese called comte. It is similar to gruyere and in France last year the people we met said gruyere is like American cheese and so they all eat comte. It is a bit stronger so I don't use as much of it and you can always blend it with another cheese then. And last of all, today is my 14th wedding anniversary. I think this post was meant for me to read! The girls are adorable, BTW :)

hey i've substituted "Irish Cheddar" for Gryuere - (I want to say the brand is Dubliner? It's in a paper wrapper). It's usually in with the fancy cheeses at our grocery store - works pretty well and isn't $9 expensive! :)

I made the spinach Mac w cheddar to make it more kid friendly - it was a whole lot of bleh. Very disappointing!!
