totally stole this photo from becky's blog...
last night i got to enjoy dinner out of the house. on a weekday. with friends. this in and of itself would be a deliriously happy occasion if it weren't for the fact that the occasion of our dinner was a send off of sorts for our friend becky. sigh.
i'm in serious denial that she's moving next week. that her husband is finishing his residency - we all moved here the same year, mind you - and that they're moving on to a year of fellowship. not only will i miss becky but also her sweet family. her daughter is almost exactly two weeks younger than C and her son is just a few months older than L. needless to say, play dates are always fun.
but i suppose skype playdates will have to suffice. and i'll selfishly cross my fingers that they're back here in a year. and that amy is staying. so that my two closest girlfriends will still be around.
I'm so sorry you're "losing" a good friend to another region. But so happy you have a group of friends who surround you in WI. Miss you!
