What inspires me? A variety of things. A layout from a book, with a new stamp set, and a color combo from a blog. Or any combination thereof :o)

No kidding, Kristina Werner has been my biggest motivation and inspiration source for scrapping. Totally gave up hand-making cards and stuff long ago, esp when my mum's not supportive. But her videos and blog really rekindled that love for handicrafts :) And Jennifer McGuire is another awesome inspiring scrapper! Put the 2 together with the many other scrappers, it's like (for the lack of better words) popcorns popping out of the toaster seriously!! :)

Kristina and Jennifer inspire me the most for card making for sure!

I'm inspired by the pictures I'm scrapbooking or the person I'm creating for. If that fails me, then I usually find inspiration in a magazine.
Posted by: Jamie Ryan | June 20, 2011 at 02:40 PM
It depends on what I'm making. Sometimes, I'm inspired by who I'm making the item for, sometimes I'm inspired by someone that I admires' work. Sometimes blogs or "famous" scrapbooker/cardmakers' work. Or just pictures, images, or things around me.

I am inspired by many things at different times. It could be a piece of paper that calls my name, a stamp set that whispers in my ear, a paint color that makes my eye twinkle. You name it, it has the potential to inspire.
This week I tip toed into my jewelry supplies and brought craft wire and beads to my cards. Inspiration is endless and can be found in every little thing.
Thanks for the opportunity to win a spot in the card camp.

OMG this is so exciting!!! Kristina and Jennifer are amazing! I wish I had a little bit of their creativity! The thing that inspires me is my family...I am the only one in my (HUGE) family who tries and captures all our moments and when I show them my work, it just brings us together that much more. I want to make sure they know how important they are with every detail I put into a scrapbook page or birthday card.

I definitely am inspired by the individual/event I'm creating the piece for. I love how two things done on the same day may end up completely different for this reason.

Side topic - I love how on your blog you use 'a' and 'p' for times. My sister is a nurse and does the same thing - a medical community quirk!

Nothing beats that look on someone's face when you give them a hand made card. You can see their deep appreciation that in a season where nobody has time to spare, you have stopped and taken the time to make them something. THAT'S my inspiration!!!

What inspires me to create? Ultimately, it's God who put the creativity in me, and to make cards and ATCs is a way to express that creativity. As for more human inspiration, I get inspired to create from people (I am in a stamping group that meets weekly), blogs, the season, the reason for the card, or sometimes just missing my now grown kids, hearing what they see and do, will inspire me to make a card.

I am inspired by experiences. There's nothing quite like capturing a memory and celebrating it :) For cards I find that focusing in on the person really helps me to make something they appreciate. Lastly, my messy artroom (well, space in the living room) has to inspire me - my hubby's sanity depends on it - hahaha.

Yowsa! There are a lot of entries here! Honestly, the person who most inspires my creativity is my sister-in-law. (I swear I'm not sucking up!!) Not only do I "borrow" her ideas for layouts, but I regularly "borrow" her subject matter! (2 gorgeous nieces make for some great pages!) I remember when we first started scrapping on the basement floor...
